Carrot jam (gluten free, lactose free)

Why children do not like veggies.
It is a huge mystery.
To cheat them i propose to cook this carrot jam.
You can blend it so there are no carrot stripes.
Carrots are naturally sweet so they combine with cinnamon, cardamon and cloves easily.
A prelude to Christmas.



ingredients: 

- 1 kg of carrots (preferably bio) 
- 1 large orange (preferably bio) 
- Ground cinnamon 
- Ground cloves 
- Gelling sugar 2: 1 

Peel and grate the carrots on a small mesh. 
Peel orange and cut into pieces. You can use other citrus fruits instead. 
In a saucepan put the carrots, orange glass of water and cook whole. 
Add the spices - cinnamon, cloves and others which you want. 
When tender and volume of water is  decreased add gelling sugar. 
After 5-10 minutes, it should become dense. 
Remove from heat, put in jars and leave upside down.
