Home made chocolate ice cream
Ingredients:
- 400 ml of milk
- Vanilla sugar
- Optionally may be too little real vanilla
- 160 g of fine white sugar (can easily reduce the amount of sugar)
- 4 egg yolks
- 150 ml heavy cream
- 2 tablets of dark chocolate
- A little bit of cocoa powder (2 tablespoons)
Boil the milk with cream.
Add vanilla sugar and vanilla (cut lengthwise) and leave the milk to strain.
Whip yolks with sugar and cocoa, slowly add the warm milk.
Again, heat over low heat, but do not boil (to 80 degrees).
Stir constantly.
Allow to cool.
Add the melted chocolate.
Cool and freeze.
From time to time, remove from the freezer and mix or blend.
