Summer Grütze

Summer Grütze


Ingredients:


- a package about 750g of frozen pinapples, bananas, pears and so on or fresh fruits
- cornstarch
- about 1 liter of water
- sugar to taste

optionally you can prepare also a vanilla sauce:

- two cups of heavy cream
- two egg yolks
- vanilla
- sugar

Throw fruits into a pot and pour water. 
Cook over low heat.
When fruits are soft add sugar , and cornstarch (formerly best to dissolve it in a little cold water). 
Cook for a while until it gets consistency like a jelly.

Serve cold fruits topped with vanilla sauce or with vanilla ice cream
